Meetings - Past & Present
The Christlieb-Chrislip-Crislip Family Association meets biennially for the purpose of taking care of association business, sharing research, and socializing among the membership. Although reunion sites alternated between Pennsylvania and West Virginia for many years, recent reunions have taken place in Maryland, Ohio, and Kentucky. The location of the biennial meetings will continue to move from place to place, in order to make them accessible to members in different geographical areas of the country.
2017 - Eighteenth Biennial Reunion
The 18th Biennial Reunion of the Christlieb-Chrislip-Crislip Family Association took place in the beautiful town of Buckhannon, West Virginia. Buckhannon is the home of several family cousins, and is close to a number of cemeteries, the resting places of many family members. The most notable of cemeteries is the Chrislip Cemetery in Chrislip Hollow, where Jacob and Nancy Chrislip are buried. This relatively small cemetery was very neatly groomed with fresh flowers placed on several graves. It is also the location of one two resting benches placed by our Famiy Association in 2017.
A big "Thank You" goes out to Ned Crislip's granddaughter, Amelia, who wrote the review of our 2017 reunion in Buckhannon, West Virginia.
Please check out the program for the 18th Biennial Reunion. During the free time there were a number of interesting places our cousins visited--which are still there for you to take advantage of!
2015 Biennial Meeting
The 17th Biennial Reunion of the Christlieb-Chrislip-Crislip Family took place in Baltimore, Maryland, in celebration of Friedrich Carl Christlieb's arrival there with his family 250 years ago from the German Rhineland, in 1765.
And what a successful reunion we had! Please check out the 2015 Reunion Page to see just how much fun was had by all.
