Amanda E. Christlieb

1823–1853

Amanda E. Christlieb, (Friedrich Carl Christlieb1, Carl Christlieb2, Isaac Christlieb3) [964], born 28 January 1823, in Pennsylvania; died 1 February 1852 (age 29); married David R. Baker, February 1848. After Amanda’s death, David R. Baker married Elizabeth R. Christlieb, a cousin of his wife. David and Elizabeth then had another six children. See Elizabeth R. Christlieb for more details. Amanda Christlieb Baker was buried in Ziegler’s Church graveyard. Her gravestone is shown here.

Christlieb4) [964], born 5 August 1849, Shippensburg, Cumberland, Pennsylvania; died 20 December 1939 (age 90 years); buried Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg, Cumberland, Pennsylvania; married Emma Jane Stouffer, born 1857; died 1916.

  • Amanda Baker (Friedrich Carl Christlieb1, Carl Christlieb2, Isaac Christlieb3, Amanda E. Christlieb4) [964], born 1852, Pennsylvania; died 1890, Pennsylvania; interred in Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg, Cumberland, Pennsylvania. In the Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, Wills and Probate Records, Vol. W-T, 1886-1893, is the Last Will and Testament of Amanda Baker. In it Amanda directs her executor to distribute all her possessions to her daughter, Emma Eckert.
