Gipson Roy Chrislip (Friedrich Carl Christlieb1, Jacob Christlieb2, Samuel Chrislip3), born 17 November 1855, Elk City, Barbour County, West Virginia; died 4 January 1934, Hutchinson, Reno County, Kansas; married, 1 January 1884, in Taylor County, West Virginia, Frances “Fannie” Josephine Reynolds, born 23 July 1867, Pruntytown, Taylor County, West Virginia; died 18 August 1938, Hutchinson, Reno County, Kansas; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson, Reno County, Kansas. Gipson is believed to have been named after his uncle, Gipson Board.

John Franklin was the son of Henry and Mary M. Astle.

  • Mabel Belle Chrislip (Friedrich Carl Christlieb1, Jacob Christlieb2, Samuel Chrislip3, Gipson Roy Chrislip4) [806], born 30 May 1887, Barbour County, West Virginia; died 5 September 1971; burial in Highland Cemetery, Winfield, Cowley County, Kansas; married, 12 Feb 1910, Alva LeRoy Cranston, born 26 November 1882; died 24 November 1948; burial in Highland Cemetery, Winfield, Cowley County, Kansas. Alva LeRoy Cranston was the son of Joseph Edward and Sarah Ann Cranston.
