Sarah A. Heckman

1854–1922

Sarah "Sadie" A. Heckman (Friedrich Carl Christlieb1, Jacob Christlieb2, Solomon Christlieb3 & Sarah Crislip3, Matilda Ellen Christlieb4) [835], born 29 April 1854; died 17 February 1922; married, 15 February 1876, Wilson A. Lay, son of George Lay and Catharine Doulhouser, born 12 July 1849; died 16 February 1916. Sarah and Wilson were married in the Lutheran Parsonage at Carlisle, Pennsylvania by The Rev. Charles S. Albert. Both are buried in Ziegler’s Church graveyard, Mifflin Township.

  • Jennie M. Lay (Friedrich Carl Christlieb1, Jacob Christlieb2, Solomon Christlieb3 & Sarah Crislip3, Matilda Ellen Christlieb4, Sarah Heckman5) [836], born November 1876; died 1955; married, 26 September 1912, Harry J. Hurley, born 1883; died 1961. No known issue.
