Charcoal Portraits of Alvin D. Crislip and Mary Victoria Anderson

During preparation for the Eighteenth Biennial Reunion of the Christlieb-Chrislip-Crislip Family Association, Tom Gildersleeve contacted the C-C-C Family Association informing us of his and his mother, Barbara Jane (Heaton) Gildersleeve's efforts at restoring and preserving two charcoal portraits, those of Alvin Demosthenes Crislip and his wife, Mary Victoria Anderson. Alvin and Mary are the great-great-grandparents of Tom Gildersleeve, who is the son of Barbara Jane Heaton; daughter of Marvin A. Heaton; son of Sarah Eliza Crislip, daughter of Alvin Demosthenes Crislip; son of Peregrine Chrislip; son of William Chrislip; son of Jacob Christlieb; son of Friedrich Carl Christlieb.
