Announcing the Twenty-first Biennial Reunion of
the Christlieb-Chrislip-Crislip Family Association

Reunion Billboard Announcement

Billboard Announcement

Our 2023 Reunion is canceled!

This year's Twenty-first Biennial Christlieb-Chrislip-Crislip Family Association Reunion was scheduled for July 28-30 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 606 Emily Dr., Clarksburg, WV 26301. We learned on July 12th, just 15 days before our Reunion, that the Hilton Garden Inn is undergoing a remodel, and we were told, with no prior warning, that the meeting room we had reserved is unavailable. Lisa Baker discussed the situation with the hotel. She asked to have until Friday, July 14th, to see if we could make things work. Early Friday morning the hotel just cancelled our reservations without talking with Lisa. Lisa attempted to find a place that, at this short notice, we could use for our Reunion. We were not able to find a suitable venue at which we could hold our reunion. So we had to make the unfortunate decision to cancel the Reunion altogether.

Announcements will be in both the Meetings page and the News page on the website. Also, don't forget that we now have a presence on Facebook. We will keep that area updated as well.

Sights and Activites in the Area

Please see the program for details. But the following, are the some of the more prominent places you may wish to visit during your free time at the reunion:

  • Mayor's Fitness Trail - 2 Veterans Memorial Drive, Clarksburg, WV.
  • Watters Smith Memorial State Park - 831 RR 3, Duck Creek Rd., Lost Creek, WV.
  • Bridgeport Covered Bridge - turn off I-79 in Bridgeport, on Meadowbrook Mall Rd. exit, and it's about a half- mile off the interstate.
  • Museum of American Glass in Weston - 230 Main St., Weston, WV.
  • Barbour County Historical Museum - 13 Museum St., Phillipi, WV.

Your Memorabilia, Please!

Hello Cousins!

As we get ready for our Twenty-first Biennial Reunion, I would like to ask/suggest/strongly encourage you to consider bringing any family memorabilia that you may have from the earlier days of the Christlieb-Chrislip-Crislip family to our reunion this year.

We would like to make this a Reunion to Remember! Also, as your webmaster, I would like to photograph as much of our memorabilia as possible for inclusion on our website for all to see and appreciate.

If you are not comfortable carrying Aunt Betty's... or well maybe Aunt Nancy's 200-year-old water pitcher, please bring a picture of it to share, and think about typing a short story detailing as much of the history as you can remember about where it came from, your earliest memories of it, and anything else pertinint to the object.

Thanks for your consideration, and I hope to see you at the Twenty-first Biennial Reunion this summer!
